For some, moving is a natural part of life, for us too. However, with moving provinces for the first time, it can be a very nerve wracking and humbling experience. There is so much to do and so much of the unknowns when selling your home of many years to relocate to a new province, new town/city and a new house. Hoping that you make all the right choices, for us, I’m sure we did just that. It wasn’t a quick decision at all, in fact we started the journey 2 1/2 years ago while vacationing in Alberta. During that vacation, we made a couple of trips to Okotoks and were amazed by how truly nice people were. We decided to look at some local real estate, thats when we met, Robyn Schidlowsky . Definitely THE kindest, most patient & understanding real estate agent we’ve ever dealt with, by far. Robyn wasn’t just in it for a quick sale, he was in it to build the experience in what small town (city) would look like in Okotoks, for us. So, with that we met Adam Mansbridge, our mortgage broker, another incredibly kind, intelligent AND very patient person, that put all our worries and concerns at ease. Two perfect examples of the kindness we’ve received along our journey. Between the best team , I can now proudly say, we are part of the Okotoks community and as absolute no surprise, we’ve received some of the warmest welcomes. Which are all very much appreciated. If I could give others a pinch of advice; align yourself up with a great & rooted team. So important as their knowledge is gold. Keep all your past files accessible digitally, ( hard copies get packed and tend to follow you at a later date ).
